Job duties: Plan, execute, and control effective utilization and optimization of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)-based industrial metal forming, stamping and cold extrusion machinery including fine blanking presses, deburring machines, vibration machines, washing machines, pin machines, lathes, machining centers, milling machines. Control electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, and rubber osmosis plant and warehouse infrastructure on two/three shift manufacturing operation. Ensure production of metal products including transmission inner/outer/end clutch disks, seat gear segments, seat hook plates, and mower tool crank webs. Supervise Technologist/Machine Repair team of three and assure efficiency and reliability of specialized industrial fine blanking and deburring, vibrating, washing, and stacking manufacturing processes. Plan, develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance plans for fine blanking machinery and auxiliary equipment including surveys on process electric motors; infrared thermography surveys; Discovery Sound Technology (DST) ultrasound analysis; vibration analysis performed with Fluke 805 vibration meter; Megohm tests on motor windings; and International Standards Organization (ISO) 46 hydraulic oil analysis. Plan, schedule, and analyze Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks including cleaning, inspection, and replacement of worn parts.
Education: Bachelor, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, or related.
Experience: Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer, Supervisor, Coordinator, Manager, or related, planning, scheduling, and reviewing surveys on process electric motors; infrared thermography surveys; Discovery Sound Technology (DST) ultrasound analysis; vibration analysis; Megohm tests on motor windings; and international Standards Organization (ISO) 46 hydraulic oil analysis, or related.
